How to Block Ads on Twitch
July 6, 2026 · 4 min read
Few things break a stream like a mid-roll ad at the worst moment. Twitch ads are harder to block than most because Twitch stitches some of them into the video stream — but a good browser ad blocker still removes the display ads, banners and many of the video ads.
Block Twitch ads on Chrome and Edge
- Install All Block and make sure it is enabled.
- Open Twitch — banner and display ads are removed automatically, and trackers are blocked.
- Refresh the stream if an ad slips through; the filters update regularly.
Why Twitch ads are different
Twitch serves some video ads from the same servers as the stream itself, so no blocker catches every one of them all the time. What a blocker reliably does is strip the banners and overlays, cut trackers, and block the ad requests it can see — which removes most of the interruptions.
A cleaner Twitch and web
All Block also cleans up YouTube and every other site you visit, using less data and loading faster along the way. Add All Block and get back to the stream.
